Psoas bursitis aspirated and injection with cortisone
The patient is seeking for pain in the right hip. An X-ray found osteoarthritis.
We did an ultrasound examination and found increased fluid in the joint and psoas bursitis.
We aspirated the bursa and injecting cortisone and xylocaine. We also did an injection with cortisone in the hip joint.
The patient got decreased pain and a better moment after the treatment. The patient could, after the treatment, continued with physiotherapy.
