A patient seeks for pain outside the trochanter after overload. No trauma. Local pain outside the thigh during pressure and activity such as running. Upon inspection, a lump is seen outside the trochanter.
An ultrasound examination shows local bursitis over trochanter.
We aspirated the bursa with 30 ml of clear fluid and then injected cortisone.
